Age with grace
(part 2)
A friend asked me to make a
follow up on my past article on aging with grace – a
dilemma, which almost everyone will suffer from, even
men. Her concern is mainly financial, that it is only
those who are affluent, those who can afford to get
plastic surgery or to go regularly to their
dermatologists, are the ones who get to maintain their
youthful appearance. This is not usually the case.

RP eagle Kabayan set to fly free at Mt. Apo

Flapping its huge wings, the
Philippine eagle called "Sicopra" jumped off the pomelo
tree along the slopes of 8,000 foot Mt. Talomo some years
ago, as two technicians from the Philippine Eagle
Foundation, released the huge bird back into the forest.
As wisps of cool mountain fog
swept over the slope, the big bird lost its bearings and
landed on the ground on its two legs and walk about like a
chicken.
